God is present and faithful to His promises.

God was present and faithful to them by keeping His covenant promises that he made to their great, great grandfather - Abraham. Promises found in…Genesis 12:2 – Where God said, “I will make you a great nation.” Genesis 15:5 – Where God promised his descendants would be like the stars Genesis 46:3 – Where God said, “I will make you into a great nation there.”
God was present and faithful in fear, oppression, and difficulty -

Pharaoh had a plan to destroy. First, he hoped to break them of the dignity and hope of their identity as being the chosen people of God, by degrading them as slaves and therefore the property of Egypt. Second, he hoped to break them of even thinking about being a security threat to him and his nation, by making them weak and unable to organize any kind of opposition. Third, he hoped to break their physical growthby way of discouraging them from wanting to bring a child into the world, only for them to become a slave and treated ruthlessly by the Egyptians. Pharaoh enslaved Israel hoping to control, weaken, and ultimately erase them.

Phase 2 of Pharaoh’s plan was to kill Jewish boys at birth. And the ultimate goal of this part of his plan was to completely wipe out the Jewish nation, by way of wiping out their next generation of men.

Satan’s attack on the next generation is not only a consistent biblical pattern, but it continues to be a pattern in our culture today.
Main Points of Application -

1) God's faithful presence is not limited by our circumstances. Bad circumstances does not mean the absence of God’s faithful presence, but it may mean that we have to look for it more intently.
2) God is faithfully present even when deliverance is delayed.
3) Faith can be present in the context of fear.
