We are responsible to make our own decisions about what is presented before us. We can’t simply blame others or say we were coerced to do obvious sins.

Start with being honest with yourself, honest with God, and honest with others.

Lying will always lead to more and more lies and deceit and will be harder and harder to recover from.

Decide today to be a person that speaks and deals with honesty and integrity!
God’s Blessing Is Given by Grace, Not Earned by Merit

What is always shocking is that in Christ, the ultimate blessing comes not to the deserving, but to the guilty.

We, like Jacob, are sinners and are guilty. Yet, God sent His Son to die for us and save us!
We have to stop trying to earn what God freely gives.

Grace precedes obedience but obedience follows the grace that has been given.
We go not with confidence in ourselves, but in Christ’s authority and presence.

Obedience often leads us into uncertainty, but never outside God’s care.

God never sends His people where His promises cannot sustain them.
You can respond to spiritual truth without truly submitting to God.

Religion tries to clean up the outside while the gospel transforms from the inside.

Are you trusting in religious effort (works)—or in grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone?

God’s Promise Moves From a Flawed Son and Points Us to His Perfect Son

In Christ, we are blessed, sent, forgiven, and adopted.

Genesis 28:1–9 shows us a God who blesses sinners, sends the unworthy, and keeps His promises.

If God can move His redemptive plan forward through Jacob, He can work through us.

The question is not: Are you worthy?
The question is: Will you trust the One who is?
Today, don’t come as Esau—trying to fix yourself.
Come as Jacob—a sinner, empty-handed, and dependent on God’s grace.

Today you can find your blessing fully and finally in Jesus Christ.

Are you still focused on your sin or trying to fix things yourself?

Have you given your life to Jesus and trusted in His grace, mercy, forgiveness, salvation, and restoration.

Today is the day of Salvation!

Would you come to the altar?

The Father’s Arms are Open wide and waiting for you!
