FIERCE FOCUS
2026 will be a Year of Fierce Focus
Fierce Focus is intense, unwavering concentration, where you boldly direct all your attention, energy, and discipline toward WHAT MATTERS MOST. It’s the passionate refusal to be distracted, the persistence to pursue long-term purpose over short-term comfort, and the commitment to stay locked in until the assignment is done.
Week #2–The Power of Purity
READ: Biblical purity is living from a heart that is set apart for God, aligned with His truth, and free from divided devotion. However, we are living in a culture that has completely redefined purity. What used to be celebrated as wisdom is now mocked as weakness. What was once called restraint is now labeled repression, and what used to be protected is now promoted as freedom. We live in a world that tells us,“If it feels good, do it. If you want it, you deserve it. If it’s hard to control, it must be natural.”And anytime God says no, the assumption is that He must be holding out on us.
But God has not changed His mind; not because He is outdated or disconnected, and not because He doesn’t understand the pressure of the culture we are living in. God hasn’t changed His mind because He knows what purity protects. Purity was never about control, shame, or restriction. It was never about God trying to take something away from us. Purity has always been about preservation.
Just like a parent protects what is precious, a builder protects what is structural, and a surgeon protects what is vital, God protects what He has placed inside of us...our heart, our mind, our body, our calling, and our future. Every boundary God sets is proof of His love, not a limitation of our freedom. Purity isn’t God saying,“You can’t.”Purity is God saying,“I don’t want you damaged, distracted, or destroyed.”And if we are going to walk in Fierce Focus this year–hearing God clearly, living with spiritual authority, and fulfilling our assignment–we must reclaim this truth: Purity is not weakness. Purity is power

Purity is power
"We cannot walk in spiritual power while entertaining spiritual compromise."
Purity doesn’t just affect behavior. Purity affects vision
When our minds and hearts are contaminated by impure thoughts, impure actions, impure motives, or impure habits, we can’t see God for who He really is and we can’t fully grasp the IMAGO DEI–Image of God in Us!!
PURITY STARTS WITH IDENTITY
Purity does NOT start with behavior. Purity starts with IDENTITY.
This is a settled truth that is not up for debate
Purity is about aligning your life with who you ALREADY ARE IN CHRIST.
That’s positional righteousness–settled, finished, secure
Purity is not about pretending. It’s about progress.
PURITY PROCEEDS WITH REPENTANCE
The sin of the first man and woman was further complicated by doing what mankind has been doing ever since: Hiding from God and looking for our own way to be made right!
"We will always be as sick as our secrets."
The pathway to spiritual health is to eliminate all the secret spots in our lives that WE THINK WE CAN HANDLE
"Sin will always take us further than we planned to go, keep us longer than we planned to stay, and make us pay more than we intended to pay. YOU CANNOT MANAGE SIN!"
What is the solution? REPENTANCE
Repentance is literally, Turning away from the thing that is offensive to God, and turning our hearts back to full alignment with God.
The most effective repentance requires us to REMOVE THE SECRECY.
Forgiveness comes from God.
But healing often flows through community.
But healing often flows through community.
The most effective repentance requires DECISIVE ACTION
PURITY ANCHORS WHEN WE EMBRACE THAT WE ARE THE LIGHT
God is counting on us!! Let’s yield to the GRACE OF PURITY!!
