Discovering the Bible: New Class Starting February 2026
Beginning Sunday, February 1, 2026, in FH15, at 9:15 a.m., Discovering the Bible, taught by Executive Pastor, Brandon Bradley, is a specially designed, 12-week Scripture survey class for seekers, new believers, and those wanting to understand the Bible as a whole. If you're not already plugged into a Sunday school group and you're looking for a welcoming introduction to exploring the Bible, this is the class for you.
Change in Church Office Hours
In 2026, the Chapel Rock Office will be closed on Fridays. Friday will still be considered a working day for the staff, however, the office itself will be closed to the public, allowing staff to take care of preparing for Sunday and other needed tasks throughout the building. Voice mail and Pastor on Call will still be available options for callers.

BIG IDEA:
When you respond often to Jesus, He shapes you.
When you respond often to Jesus, He shapes you.
1. WHAT IS FORMATION?
Spiritual formation is simply the process by which we are shaped and formed; it can be intentional and unintentional, with positive and negative consequences. This process takes place through repeated actions, habits, and rituals.

God has a plan for how His people are to be shaped. Once we experience God’s salvation, the goal for the Christian is to be formed into the image of Christ.
2. WHAT IS LITURGY?
“Liturgy” is a ritual that is connected to a story, and that Story shapes and forms our values and beliefs. This story always points us towards our aims as humans, and paints a picture of something called “The Good Life”--something we all long for.

3. HOW CAN LITURGY (DAILY WORSHIP) SHAPE US?
There are really two parts to this, a corporate expression and an individual one.
Corporate: When we gather for corporate worship, we are re-situated in the ultimate Story of the Gospel—the story that tells us what the good life truly is, who we are, and what we are for.
Individual: Monday – Saturday
