Make an IMPACT

The Bible teaches us that tithing is an act of obedience and that we should trust God with every aspect of our lives, which also includes our finances. Sacrificing a portion of our income helps us look beyond ourselves and makes us more aware of the needs of others. We offer many ways for you to make an IMPACT and give back. Take a look at some of the options below:

Every financial decision feeds something.
Payday: Real Financial Freedom
100 GRAND: Margin, Not Millions
Milk Duds: High Income, Zero Peace
Nestle Crunch: Normal America
Almond Joy: Faithful Consistent Givers
What actually starves the money monster?
Contentment
1. Contentment is Learned, Not Natural
2. Contentment Protects Your Heart From Comparison
You are one upgrade away from being happy.
You’re not rich when you get everything you want. You are rich when you want what you already have.
What has God already entrusted to me?
3. Contentment Reorders Trust, And That Opens The Door To Generosity
What am I ultimately relying on to be okay?
Contentment says… I trust God to define what ‘enough’ means.
“What am I freed up to do now?”
Buildings don’t change lives. But they absolutely remove barriers to life change.
One Day to Shape the Future.
“Is this feeding contentment… or is it feeding control?
Action Steps for this Week:
Don’t try to fix everything this week… just get honest and get intentional. These three steps will help you start starving the monster without shame, and start feeding what actually leads to peace.

Action Steps:
1. Name What’s Feeding the Monster (Awareness)

Pick one day this week and track every money moment… big or small (coffee, Amazon, scrolling, gas, subscriptions, impulse buys).

Then write one sentence:
• When I spend, I’m usually feeding ________.”
(comfort, control, image, escape, approval, security, reward, etc.)

You’re just learning what’s driving you, this is a clarity exercise, not a religious one.

2. Do the “Pause + Question” Move (Interrupt the Pattern)
Before you spend anything non-essential this week, pause for 10 seconds and ask: “Is this feeding contentment… or feeding control?”

If it’s control, don’t shame yourself, just delay it 24 hours. Most “I need this” purchases don’t survive a day of breathing room.

3. Make One Intentional Move Toward Margin (A Small Win)
Choose one small action that creates margin this week:
• Cancel one unused subscription
• Bring lunch 1–2 days instead of buying
• Pay an extra $20 toward a debt (or set up a plan if you’ve avoided it)
• Move $25 into savings (even if it’s tiny)
• Set a simple spending cap for one category (food, Amazon, etc.)

Margin reduces anxiety and creates room to put God first.
