You’ve probably heard the phrase “Time heals all wounds.” Unfortunately, this often isn’t the case. Time sometimes even makes things worse, and many people walk around carrying wounds from years ago that have never healed.

Celebrate Recovery is a program that has helped thousands of people overcome their hurts, habits, and hang-ups. We have started our own weekly South Side Celebrate Recovery Men’s and Women’s Open Share Groups! These groups will be a chance to work through hurts, habits, and hang-ups, including past unhealed wounds and present hang-ups like addiction, depression, anxiety, or anything you are carrying around that needs the healing of Jesus.

Our men’s group meets on Tuesdays at 7am

Our women’s group meets on Thursdays at 3pm

Last month mc3 received an urgent request from Victor & Lety Velasco, the directors of Trigo Y Miel, our mc3Missions feeding and development partner in Oaxaca, MEX, asking if we could send a small leadership team to care for them during a time of personal need. After working out some schedules, Lead Pastor Sean, his wife Kendra, and c3 Pastor Chris will be heading to Oaxaca for a brief, 5-day trip from Fri, Feb 6 - Tue, Feb 10. As of now, our main purpose for this trip will be simply to BE with our Trigo family in Oaxaca during a challenging ministry situation.

Because of this urgent need, Forward Edge is waiving most of their team fees, only requiring room & board ...and airfare as our responsibility (as usual). Because of the unexpected nature of this trip, it is unbudgeted, so we would to like to take a special offering to help offset the cost. We will collect this offering NEXT WEEK, Sunday, January 18, so please be praying now about what you can give.

At mc3 we have Pr'me Groups which are small groups to help you develop meaningful relationships with other Christ-followers. The ALL-NEW WINTER CYCLE for JAN-MAR has started BUT there is still time and EVERYONE will need to sign-up for a group. Groups meet at different days, times, and locations throughout the week--and some of the groups have changed, so it's okay for you to switch groups. Including a NEW ADDITION OF a Daytime Pr'me TUESDAYS 9AM-10:30AM at the mc3 building!

We also have Student Pr'me for students in 6th-12th grade that will meet on Tuesdays 6:30-8:30p BEGINNING THIS TUESDAY on January 13.
