If someone looked at your calendar or bank statement, what might they assume is most important to you?
During this week's message we heard Jesus’ answer to “What’s most important?” was the Kingdom of God—not as a side, but as the center of life. What about that idea feels compelling to you, and what feels challenging?
Read Matthew 6:24–25 together.
How do competing priorities or worries show up in your life, and what do they tend to pull your focus toward?

Read Matthew 6:33 together.
What do you think “seeking first” the Kingdom looks like in real, everyday practical decisions?

During the message we heard the Kingdom described as the foundation for center of life, rather than just the “first item” on a list.

Pastor Jonathan suggested that our strongest reactions—especially when something is threatened or taken away—can reveal what we truly worship.

Prayer:
Jesus, we come to You as our King. We confess that so many good things compete for first place in our lives. Help us to see clearly what sits at the center of our hearts. Teach us what it means to seek Your Kingdom first—not just in words, but in how we live. We trust You with our needs, our future, and our worries. Shape our lives around Your way of love, grace, truth, and service. Lead us this week as we live for You. Amen.
