Come to the Table
Eddie Warren
What’s causing these “divisions”?

Not the only time we see “schisms” or divisions in the church in
Corinth
Corinth, Rome is a class oriented society

“Agape” or “love” feast

A sacrament and feast that is intended to promote love and unity is
encouraging division
Examination isn’t intended to keep you from the table, it’s intended to
prepare you for the table

Examination as “self judgement”
“In communion, each participant declares, proclaims, or preaches in the breaking of bread that 'Christ died', and in eating the bread and drinking from the cup that 'Christ died for me'; I appropriate His death for me.”

- Anthony Thiselton
“Communion is not a congratulatory banquet for the sinless; it is a sustaining meal for repentant sinners, who are hungry and thirsty for righteousness but know they have fallen short.”

- Andrew Wilson
When God disciplines His children it is for our good, for our growth,
for our refinement

God is gracious, God is loving, and out of His love He will do what is
necessary to cleanse you from sin

We have rescheduled our Annual Meeting for Sunday, January 11, 2026. Members will vote, but everyone is welcome to join us. Childcare will not be provided.

MomCo Needs Your Support!

BeFree MomCo supports and encourages moms with young kids in our church and community, but we can't do it without the help of others!

Here are some ways you can get involved!

KidsCo Leader - coordinate and organize our KidsCo program and volunteers with the support of MomCo resources
KidsCo Volunteer - care for and share the love of Jesus with our children while moms get the opportunity to meet together
KidsCo Teen Volunteer - assist in caring for our children, gain valuable childcare experience
Speak or Lead an Activity - share encouragement or special interests with the moms

If you're interested in being a part of BeFree MomCo in any way or have questions, reach out to Alyssa Gifford at befreemomco@gmail.com.
