Our theme for 2026 is MOVING FORWARD!
Phil. 3:12-14 (New Life Version)…Paul says,
”I do not say that I have received this or have already become perfect. But I keep going on to make that life my own as Christ Jesus made me His own. Christian brothers, I do not have the life I want yet.
But I do one thing. I FORGET EVERYTHING THAT IS BEHIND ME and look FORWAD to what is ahead of me. 14 My eyes are on the crown. I want to win the race and get the crown of God’s call from heaven through Christ Jesus.”

Forgetting is A Prerequisite to MOVING FORWARD.
I can’t change the things that happened in my life in 2025. But I do have the choice to Learn, Grow, and MOVE FORWARD, and not allow it to chain me to the past.
It’s not WHAT happens to you in life that matters, it’s HOW you RESPOND that matters. Your RESPONSE determines the RESULTS in your life.
2. STOP BLAMING
1. STOP LOOKING BACKWARDS
Stop wasting your time and energy looking in the rearview mirror!
If we constantly blame our circumstances on other people and things, we’ll never MOVE FORWARD!
Regret dwells on all the Woulda, Coulda, Shoulda’s of life and paralyzes you so you can’t MOVE FORWARD!
3. LET GO OF OFFENSE, ANGER, AND BITTERNESS
“EYES FORWARD” - It means focus on what’s in front of you NOT what’s behind you.
4. LET GO OF SHAME AND GUILT
With the high priority on RESULTS and IMAGE when things don’t go as planned in people’s lives, they are flooded with tremendous amounts of SHAME and GUILT.
Today, no matter who you are or what you’ve done Jesus wants to remove the Guilt and Shame you’re living with so you can MOVE FORWARD into the wonderful future He has planned for you.
5. LET GO OF THE GLORY DAYS
success can be as big of a stumbling block as failure.
we serve a God who is always CREATING and DOING NEW THINGS.
Jesus is called the Great I AM not the Great I WAS!
6. RENEW YOUR PASSION
And when we lose our passion, we can get STUCK IN THE PAST or PRESENT unable to MOVE FORWARD!
Psalm 69:9 (Passion Translation) David declared,
“My love for you has my heart on fire! My passion for your house consumes me! Nothing will turn me away, even though I endure all the insults of those who insult you."

7. EXERCISE YOUR FAITH
MOVING FORWARD requires us to stop defining OURSELVES by OUR PAST and defining ourselves by WHAT GOD SAYS ABOUT US AND OUR SITUATION!
Life Church it’s time to LET GO OF THE PAST AND MOVE FORWARD individually and corporately!
