Luke’s use of kataluma reminds us that Jesus came not to find a guest room but to make His dwelling in the hearts of those who make room for Him.

Examine if you’ve made a place for Him, as Lord who dwells permanently within, removing distractions, repenting of sin, and joyfully receiving Him as Savior, just as Zacchaeus did, and as the disciples did in the upper room.
