Jesus isn't just the way home. He's also the way we're meant to LIVE.
Following Jesus will make your life better and make you better at life.
The way of Jesus requires something of us.
Do for others what God through Jesus has done for you
What did God do through Jesus for us?
He brought us home = Jesus reconciled us back to the Father
He brought us home = Jesus reconciled us back to the Father
The reconciled should be reconcilers.
The way of Jesus is the way of reconciliation.
Your vertical relationship with God and your horizontal relationships with people are inseparable.
You can't be right with God while you're refusing to make things right with the people in your life.
"We're so divided."
The antidote is reconciliation.
The antidote is reconciliation.
What does the world need more than anything right now? Reconciliation.
You can forgive someone from a distance, but reconciliation is up close and personal.
So initiate...
• Be the first to apologize.
• Be quick to forgive.
• Make that call.
• Write that note.
• Refuse to return evil for evil.
• Return good for evil.
• Do what Jesus did.

First, before you celebrate what I've done for you, before you sing to me about how much you love me, how about you prove it by keeping my commandment?
Go and be reconciled to them. Then go celebrate my birthday.
