Preparation Question: Looking back over this year, what unexpected detours or closed doors might have actually been God preparing the way for something you couldn’t see yet?

1. God lovingly orchestrated the perfect historical moment for Christ's coming.

2. God lovingly staged Bethlehem for Christ's birth, identity, and mission.

3. God lovingly prepares our paths and hearts for his perfect plan.

1. How does seeing the cultural, political, and historical preparation behind Christ’s birth deepen your appreciation of God’s love?
