LIFE GROUP DISCUSSION
SHARE: Can you think of a time you took a risk to follow Jesus?
READ: ACTS 28:1-6. The islanders made snap judgments about Paul based on circumstances - first when he was bitten by the snake, then when he survived. What are some ways you've seen people's beliefs about God change based on their circumstances rather than truth?
READ: ACTS 28:7-10. Have you ever found yourself in a place you didn’t plan to be but God used it for His purposes? How can we apply that to our every day lives?
READ: ACTS 28:11-16. What does Paul’s arrival in Rome tell you about God?
READ: ACTS 28:17, 23-24. Why do you think Paul called the Jewish leaders to come visit him? What do you learn from the responses of these leaders?
READ: ACTS 28:30. Paul made the most of every opportunity to share the gospel? What holds you back from taking advantage of more opportunities to share the message of Jesus?
SHARE: Is there one risk you feel called to take in your faith? What is holding you back? What is your next step to making it happen?
