Testimonies and Thanksgiving - Phil Kendon
We all love to hear a story of what God has done in someone’s life. Testimonies inspire us, and help us to trust God more in our own lives. When we share our story, it is a way of honouring God – giving him credit for all the good things he has done, showing that we don’t take his kindness for granted. Testimonies also help to plough the soil of people’s hearts. A colleague, friend or family member may not yet believe in Jesus, but sharing our story gives them some food for thought on their journey towards faith.

1. There are some things we cannot solve on our own

- The best doctors can’t help some diseases. The best rehab programs can’t solve some addiction problems.
- We must learn to support people without trying to solve their problems, and to receive support despite no change in our situation.
