Eating together __________________________ our _________________________________ with Jesus and each other.
(Exodus 24:9-11, 1 Corinthians 10:15-17, Acts 2:46)
We were _________________________ to be in ____________________________. (Genesis 2:18)
Jesus used ____________________ to ________________________ to people.
(Luke 5:27-32, Luke 19:5-10)
One question to ask yourself: _____________________________________________________________________
Our tables are meant to be __________________________.
(Matthew 26:20, Matthew 10:2-4, Revelation 7:9)
Our tables are meant to be places of ___________________________ and _______________________________.
(Romans 12:13, Luke 14:12-14)

Go Deeper:
1. What is your favorite Thanksgiving food, and why is it stuffing? (But seriously. It’s stuffing right?) What’s one of your favorite Thanksgiving traditions? What are you thankful for this year?
2. What do you think about the idea that eating together is biblical? Do you think that sharing a meal is an intimate experience? Why or why not? What ways have you seen relationships grow when you sit down to eat with people?
3. Do you believe the idea that we were created to be in relationships? Why or why not? Do you think there’s a difference between the way culture defines community and biblical community? If so, how would you describe that difference? If not, why?
4. Why do you think Jesus often prioritized sharing meals with people? What can we learn from His example?
5. Why do you think it’s important to ask ourselves who is at our tables? How would you answer that question? Is there anyone specific you feel like you need to bring to your table?
6. Why do you the Bible stresses us being hospitable? How can you use your “table” to provide love and provision for people? What’s one practical step you can take this week to use your table well?
7. To go even deeper with this week’s sermon, join a Hills Group to discuss the questions above with other people in our community. To join or lead a Hills Group, visit hillschurchnm.com/connect.
