Weekly Sermon Overview:
This Sunday is Christ the King Sunday on the Christian calendar. It is day that celebrates the sovereignty of Jesus Christ over all the world. It was established in 1925 by the Catholic church in response to the rising secularism. This Sunday we will talk about why this day is important and how our understanding of Jesus as king is probably more often defined by our understanding of modern-day kings rather than what was originally intended.
