Faith in Jesus gives us victory and eternal life | Anchored - Part 07

In a world where truth is blurred and love is conditional, the letters of John call us back to what matters most: a life anchored in Jesus. These letters were written to early churches facing division and false teaching about Christ’s identity. John reminds us that authentic faith is built on knowing who Jesus truly is, walking in His light, and living out His love. Over nine parts, we will explore how knowing Jesus transforms our lives from fear and deception to confidence and love. John closes his letter by affirming the victory we have in Jesus, the Son of God. Believers can be confident in their eternal life, and prayer is powerful for those who walk in Him.

As soon as John has defined the core belief that Jesus is the Christ as the means by which the new birth is brought about, he immediately moves into the inevitable expression and proof of faith’s existence and genuineness, love for God and for his children. Faith that does not lead to love is meaningless. Love that is not based on faith is powerless.
