1) Remember the Gospel you Believed (v. 1-34)
A) Remember what the Gospel is Doing in You (v. 34-58)
i)It is not getting you ready for earth, but for heaven.
ii) It is forming in us the image of Christ for heaven.
iii) It is giving you victory over sin and death for heaven.
2) Remain in the Gospel you Believed
The main idea of this sermon is to completely open the Corinthians' eyes to the power of the gospel, which they have forgotten, due to letting the world blind them. The world was successfully casting doubt on the reality of the resurrection among the believers in Corinth, and Paul dealt with that in great magnitude between v. 1 - 34, but Paul knew that there would be mockers still, therefore Paul finishes providing a comprehensive explanation of what the gospel does bodily.
It is important to know that the when we receive doctrine on the resurrection of the believer, we receive it bodily, not merely as spiritual. However, it will be a heavenly body.
