We’ve all asked big “why” questions — Why am I here? What’s my purpose? But underneath them all sits an even bigger one: Why God?
Share a time you remember asking a “why” question — maybe as a kid staring at the stars, or as an adult facing something hard. What was happening around you that stirred that sense of wonder or curiosity about something bigger than yourself?

This week we’re exploring how believing that God exists changes everything — how we see life, purpose, and even the moments that don’t make sense. When you notice the beauty or complexity of creation — the sky, the ocean, or even the details of the human body — what thoughts or emotions rise up in you and how does that sense of awe or design shape the way you think about God?

Paul says God’s invisible qualities are clearly seen through what He made.
What are some ways you’ve “seen” God’s character or creativity revealed in everyday life?

Throughout history and across every culture, people have searched for something beyond themselves.
When have you personally sensed that same longing or awareness of God in your own life story and what do you think that points to about how we were created?

Paul describes life as something inside God’s presence, not outside of it.
What stands out to you about that idea — that every breath, every moment, every part of life is held within Him and how might seeing life through that lens change how you handle everyday decisions, worries, or goals?

“God, thank You that You are real and that Your fingerprints are all around us. You are our reason for life, our purpose for living, and our hope when life hurts. Help us find our place in Your story and trust that Your presence never leaves us. Open our eyes to see You in creation, in truth, and in the everyday moments we often overlook. May Your presence change how we live, love, and trust each day. Amen.”
