The One Who Is...Gracious | October 26 | Exodus 34:6-9
Locations & Times
Central Christian Church
2900 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226, USA
Sunday 9:30 AM
Key Theme:
God’s gracious nature means He meets our sin and failure not with what we deserve, but with mercy, favor, and patient love, calling us to rest in and reflect that grace.
Key Application:
When you feel shame, failure, or frustration, remember God as revealed in Exodus 34:6–9 and choose to respond not with self-condemnation, pride, or entitlement but with gratitude, humility, confession, and rest in His character.
Key Verses:
Exodus 34:6-7 “The LORD, the LORD, a God merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness, keeping steadfast love for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, but who will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers on the children and the children’s children, to the third and the fourth generation.”
Key Questions:
1. When have you personally experienced undeserved kindness, from God or from another person, and how did it shape your view of grace?
2. Do you tend to struggle more with believing that God can forgive you, or with forgetting how much you’ve been forgiven? Why?
3. Who in your life might need to experience God’s gracious character through you, and what would it look like for you to extend that grace this week?

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
