Abel brought the firstborn of his flock and their fat portions - a gift of the finest quality. Cain brought an offering - a gift that is just common. Cain’s sin is tokenism. He looks religious, but in his heart, he is not totally dependent on God.

God doesn’t measure generosity by the size of the gift; He measures generosity by the size of the sacrifice.
