If you want to lose your marriage and/or family, Embed (not only be IN but be OF) the WRONG Community
If you want to deepen your marriage and/or family, Embed (be IN and be OF) the RIGHT Community
God expects followers of Jesus to be embedded in a God-Glorifying, Christ/Word-Centered, Spirit-Empowered, Family-Oriented, Mission-Driven CHURCH!!!!
The ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES of the Church:

1. Body of Christ (Relationship with one another)
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up…. (Ephesians 4:11–12)
2. Bride of Christ (Relationship with Christ)
One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, “Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb.” (Revelation 21:9)
3. Family/Household of God (Relationship with God....)
Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers.
(Galatians 6:10)

If I am delayed, you will know how people ought to conduct themselves in God’s household, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and foundation of the truth. (1 Timothy 3:15)
4. Temple of God (Relationship with God and World)
In him the whole building is joined together and rises to become a holy temple in the Lord. And in him you too are being built together to become a dwelling....(Ephesians 2:20–22)
…you also, like living stones, are being built into a spiritual house to be a holy priesthood, offering spiritual sacrifices acceptable to God through Jesus Christ. (1 Peter 2:5)
5. Citizens of the Kingdom (Embassy/Ambassadors)
But our citizenship is in heaven. And we eagerly await a Savior from there, the Lord Jesus Christ…. (Philippians 3:20)

But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s special possession . . . Once you were not a people, but now you are the people of God.... (1 Peter 2:9, 10)
The RELATIONSHIPS you are to have IN & WITH the Church:

1. Leadership (Discipleship)
Have confidence in your leaders and submit to their authority, because they keep watch over you as those who must give an account. Do this so that their work will be a joy, not a burden, for that would be of no benefit to you. (Hebrews 13:17)

So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up.... (Ephesians 4:11–12)
2. Corporate Worship
When you come together, each of you has a hymn, or a word of instruction, a revelation, a tongue or an interpretation. Everything must be done so that the church may be built up. (1 Corinthians 14:26)

And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:24–25)
3. Smaller Groups
They devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer . . . Every day they continued to meet together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes and ate together with glad and sincere hearts.... (Acts 2:42, 46)
4. Accountability with Brothers-Sisters
Brothers and sisters, if someone is caught in asin, you who live by the Spirit should restore that person gently. ..Carry each other’s burdens.... (Galatians 6:1–2)

Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. (James 5:16)
