Examples of Wrong Motives

- Choosing a career path for status or comfort instead of calling or purpose.
- Dating or marrying someone out of fear of being alone rather than genuine love and shared faith.
- Choosing a school, activity, or church to fit an image rather than what spiritually forms your family.
- Serving at church to be noticed rather than to be faithful to God’s call.

Don’t let your decisions determine your identity; Let your identity in Christ determine your decisions.
Wisdom Prayer
Lord, You are the source of all wisdom. As we face decisions, help us to listen before we speak, to seek truth before we act, and to surrender our motives before You. Help us to think and act more like Jesus every day. Amen.
