Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

Tuesday Evenings - GriefShare
We will have a Grief Share group, here at The River. This group will meet every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Lacene Downing is leading the group. You can register for the group by going to HitTheRiver.com and clicking the Events tab. For more information about GriefShare go to griefshare.org.
Sunday mornings - Youth AM Bible Study
We are offering a Sunday morning Bible study for all middle and high school students during the 9:30 service in the youth room. We have a team of teachers helping us and we are very excited about this! We will be using the Gospel Project curriculum and we hope to help kids understand the Bible better and connect on Sunday mornings.
October 25 - Fall Fest
Join us at The River's Fall Festival on October 25 from 1-3 PM! Our festival will kick off with Trunk or Treat from 1-1:45 and inflatables, face painting, crafts, games, and food will be available all afternoon. Invite friends, family, and neighbors to join you for some free fall fun! Several volunteers are needed in various areas and so are trunks! Trunks participating in Trunk or Treat do not need to register, but we ask that you provide enough candy for 200 kids and please no spooky, scary, or non-church-friendly themes. If you are interested in volunteering during the festival, please go to HitTheRiver.com. We will see you there!
October 26 - Child Dedication
We will be having a Baby & Child Dedication during both of our services. If you have never publicly declared your commitment to raising your child to become a Christ-follower, than we want to encourage you to sign-up at HitTheRiver.com for our next Child Dedication service!
Affinity Group Events
October 17 - Game Night 6:30 - 8:30 pm
We have many games to choose from, however, feel free to bring your favorites. We will have some light appetizers so feel free to bring a snack to share. Location: The McGaffins: 6144 Dunmore Drive, West Chester, OH 45069
October 18 - Clay & Trap Shooting 1:00 - 3:00 pm
This group meets at the Middletown Sportsman's Club from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm. Questions? Contact Spencer Williamson at 513-460-5512
October 22 - Ladies Who Lunch 12:00 - 1:00 pm
All ladies are welcome to bring a packed lunch and sit and enjoy a meal with other ladies of The River in the River Cafe from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
