Key Theme:
God’s wrath flows from His perfect love, goodness, and justice and the gospel is the good news that Jesus absorbs God’s righteous wrath for those who trust in Him, leading believers to both hope and proclaim this rescue.
Key Application:
Walk in hope and joy for the wrath of God that will remove all that brings brokenness to his creation and share the good news urgently with those still under His wrath.
Key Verses:
Nahum 1:2 “The LORD is a jealous and avenging God; the LORD is avenging and wrathful; the LORD takes vengeance on his adversaries and keeps wrath for his enemies.”
Key Questions:
1. Do I tend to downplay or avoid thinking about God’s wrath? Why?
2. Am I resting in the reality that Jesus took the full cup of God’s wrath for me? Does that truth stir gratitude, awe, and worship in my heart?
3. Who in my life right now is still under God’s wrath and needs to hear the good news? What is one practical step I can take this week to share the gospel with them?

Give Online
Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
