A perpetual war is commenced between the kingdoms
The conflict between the Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Satan stands at the center of the New Testament discourse.
The first temptation: Satan enticed Jesus to meet his physical need outside of God’s will.
The second temptation: Satan enticed Jesus toward religious fanaticism.
The third temptation: Satan enticed Jesus toward worshipping him.
The Kingdom of God lifestyle while living in the kingdom of Satan, equals spiritual warfare.
1. The war from within THE FLESH – Sin
2. The war from THE WORLD – Culture
3. The war from THE HEAVENLIES – Principalities
WHAT ARE THE WEAPONS THAT HAVE DIVINE POWER?
Jesus’ way of defeating Satan is seen in the way he walked out his earthly life as an example for us to be empowered and become overcomers through Him.
#1 The Kingdom of God lifestyle requires walking in our authority of Jesus Christ while living in the kingdom of Satan here on earth.
#2 The Kingdom of God lifestyle requires fixing our gaze on Jesus and the Father while living in the kingdom of Satan here on earth.
#3 The Kingdom of God lifestyle requires a withdrawing away to pray while living in the kingdom of Satan here on earth.
There is an ongoing crushing of the enemy through our lives as we resist the enemy and submit to our Heavenly Father.
This is the Jesus way of Spiritual Warfare!
