Make an IMPACT

The Bible teaches us that tithing is an act of obedience and that we should trust God with every aspect of our lives, which also includes our finances. Sacrificing a portion of our income helps us look beyond ourselves and makes us more aware of the needs of others. We offer many ways for you to make an IMPACT and give back. Take a look at some of the options below:

PEACE WITH GOD.
PEACE WITH OTHERS.
PEACE IN OUR OWN SOULS.
Am I a person whose soul is at peace?
So how do we cultivate this kind of peace?
BIG IDEA: Peace is God’s work that takes root in a surrendered heart and a focused mind.
1. PEACE IS A WORK OF GOD (Phil 4:4-9, Isa 26:3)
2. If you want peace in your soul, grow a surrendered heart.
(Phil 4:4-7)
Are you chasing peace by managing your circumstances, or growing it through prayerful trust in God?
3. If you want peace in your soul, grow a focused mind. (Phil 4:8-9)
Tim Keller said it this way, “Peace doesn’t come from thinking less. It comes from thinking more.”
Feed your mind truth from God’s Word daily.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus…

9…and the God of peace will be with you.
Action Steps for this Week:
Here’s where this can’t just stay theory, or another Sunday sermon you nod along to. If peace is a fruit of the Spirit, then it’s got to change how you live this week. Let me give you three steps to put this into motion.

Action Steps:
1. Trade Worry for Prayer.
When anxiety rises, don’t let it spiral. Stop in the moment and turn it into prayer. Name your worry out loud to God, thank Him for what He’s already done, and trust Him with what’s next.

2. Choose Surrender Over Control.
This week, notice where you’re grasping for control—whether it’s at work, in your family, or in your future. Instead of trying to manage every outcome, practice surrender by inviting God into that situation and letting Him carry it.

3. Fill Your Mind with What’s True.
Limit the noise. Turn down the endless scroll, the breaking news, and the negativity. Each day, put at least one true, honorable, pure, or praiseworthy thought from God’s Word in front of your eyes—and let it shape your perspective.
