The One Who Is...Righteous | September 21 | Psalm 14:1-3
Locations & Times
Central Christian Church
2900 N Rock Rd, Wichita, KS 67226, USA
Sunday 9:30 AM
Key Theme:
All humanity is unrighteous before the eyes of the Righteous One and we can only become righteous by believing in Him who died for us.
Key Application:
As children of God who have been made righteous by the One who is righteous, we are to walk in obedience and look forward to the day when we will live in the new heavens and new earth where righteousness will dwell.
Key Verses:
1 Peter 3:18 – “For Christ also suffered once for sins, the righteous for the unrighteous, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh but made alive in the spirit,”
Key Questions:
1. How would you explain to a nonbeliever that all humans are unrighteous before God and fall short of His standard?
2. In what ways do you see self-righteousness creep into your own heart and mind, causing you to look down on others?
3. What are injustices that currently take place that make you long even more for the new heavens and new earth?

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
