The law can restrain, but it can’t transform. And what the Spirit grows in you… no law on earth can stop it, no rule can manufacture it, and no culture can cancel it.

1. Love Is Not an Option. It’s the Evidence.

If love is the root, if love is the foundation, if love is the proof… do you understand love?

If you claim to follow Jesus but you only love people who look like you, think like you, or agree with you, then let’s be honest, what you’re showing isn’t shaped by the Spirit, it’s shaped by your own preferences.

Love without truth isn’t love… it’s enablement. Truth without love isn’t truth… it’s brutality. But when you hold them together, truth and love, you reflect Jesus.

Here’s where this can’t just stay theory, or another Sunday sermon you nod along to. If love is the evidence, the action, and the first move, then it’s got to change how you live this week. Let me give you three steps to put this into motion.

Action Steps:

1. Move First in One Relationship.
Don’t wait. Make the call, send the text, have the conversation. Pick one relationship that’s stuck and take the first step toward love.

2. Choose Action Over Intention.
Don’t just feel compassion… do something with it. Serve someone, encourage someone, forgive someone. This week, let at least one person experience love because you acted, not just felt.

Let Jesus Be Your Source.
You can’t manufacture this kind of love. Spend time with Him daily… open His Word, pray honestly, and ask His Spirit to grow in you what you can’t grow on your own.
