------------
- God doesn’t just want you to make an impact - he wants you to make maximum impact.
- God’s timing is never late.
- Wait well, remembering the circumstances of your service to Christ do not determine the value of your service to Christ.

Hebrew names reveal his loyalty to God; they are not a nod to his heritage but identify him as a Hebrew among Egyptians.
Manasseh - “one who causes to forget…suffering in my father’s home”
All the harsh treatment no longer has a hold on him, he can see God's greater purpose.
Ephraim - "For God has made me fruitful in the land of my affliction."
By calling Egypt the "land of my affliction," he flat-out rejects Egypt and all it has brought him.
"Fruitfulness" is not all the stuff of Egypt, but God’s greater purpose to be an instrument of salvation for many.

2. GOD’S PURPOSE IS GREATER THAN WORDLY POSESSIONS
------------
A. Don’t Mistake Goods for Greatness
“The fact is, no matter how good things get in this world, it’s all Egypt!”
B. Don’t Mistake Egypt for Eternity
We’re strangers on Earth. This world is not our home. We’re citizens of a different kingdom.
C. Don’t Mistake Platforms for Purpose
Use whatever platform you have been given to fulfill your purpose of loving God with all that you are, while making more and better followers of Christ.
Greatness isn’t what Egypt gives you, but what God does through you.

3. GOD'S STOREHOUSE OF GRACE IS GREATER THAN JOSEPH'S STOREHOUSE OF GRAIN
------------
A. Sin is the famine that threatens to kill you.
B. No amount of effort can save you.
C. You must acknowledge your need.
D. God’s granary of grace is sufficient to meet your need.
E. The heavenly storehouse of grace is open to all.
F. The grace of God is free of charge.
