Learn Stewardship – act like a manager, not an owner.

Owner says this is mine to do with what I want. Asks, what would make me happy? What do I want?

Manager says this is God’s and He has given it to me to use wisely. Asks what would God want? How would He use this resources?

God is looking for stewards in whom He can entrust His riches.

God’s true riches:

Grace and Salvation - Eph 1:7 - God is able to see us in Jesus so that our sin does not keep us from a relationship with him.
Wisdom and Knowledge - 1 Cor 1:4-6 - The keys to life are available to us.
Eternal Life - John 3:16 - God has made it possible for us to spend eternity with Him.
Love and Community - Prov 17:6 - Closeness to God and People; family, church, friends.
Generosity and Good Deeds - 1 Tim 6:18-19, Eph 2:10 - We are able to do good in this life because of the work of Jesus.
Material Wealth - Phil 4:19 - God will give us material things to meet our needs and for us to enjoy.
