Give Online

The Bible teaches us to give the first 10% of our income to the "storehouse." God says we can test Him by doing this and watching Him take care of us in return. This may sound like a stretch to you! Just take a step toward toward that goal. If you currently give nothing, start giving something. If you give something, try increasing it a step toward the 10% goal. Trust God! Give Him your first before anything else by setting up a recurring, automated donation online. You will then receive quarterly updates about how your giving is making a difference and how your donations are being used.

Bottom Line: Fueling the flame leads to greater things I have never seen.
The flame is ignited when I believe in Jesus not just believe that He is real
Jesus wants my flame to be fueled.
The Holy Spirit is the fuel
Fueling the flame leads to greater things I have never seen
START TALKING:

We’ve all had experiences that changed how we see or do something—learning a skill, falling in love with a passion, or joining a team that pushed us to grow.
Question: What’s something you’ve gone deeper into (music, a relationship, a hobby, etc.) that completely changed your experience or perspective? What made it different once you really invested?
START THINKING:

Read John 14:12
“Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father.”
Jesus promises that those who believe in Him will do even greater things.

Question: Why do you think the word “in” is such a big deal here? How is believing in Jesus different from just believing that Jesus is real?

Question: Have you ever had a moment when your belief moved from “that” to “in”? What did that shift look like for you?

Read Matthew 16:25“If you try to hang on to your life, you will lose it. But if you give up your life for my sake, you will save it.”

Question: What does it mean to “let go” or surrender in your relationship with Jesus? What’s something you’re still holding onto?
START SHARING:

Illustration Reflection: The sermon shared a story about trusting someone enough to do a trust fall—falling backward, believing they’d catch you. That moment of surrender symbolized real belief.

Question: What would a spiritual “trust fall” look like in your life right now? Where is Jesus asking you to fully trust Him? The flame is ignited when we believe in Jesus—not just believe that He exists.

Question: How can you tell if your flame is lit—or just flickering? What fuels your passion for Jesus, and what threatens to burn it out?

Read John 14:26
“But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you.”

Question: How do you see the Holy Spirit as fuel in your life? Are you relying more on Him or more on your own strength, habits, or routines?
START DOING:

Fueling the flame leads to greater things I have never seen.

Questions: What’s one area of your life where you need the Holy Spirit to take over and fuel you?
What specific step can you take this week to surrender more fully to Jesus?
What’s one thing you’ve never experienced with God—but want to? How will you pursue it?

Challenge: Ask the Holy Spirit to teach you and remind you this week. Let Him fuel your next steps—in relationships, service, prayer, or risk-taking faith.
START PRAYING:

Take time to pray for:
A deeper belief in Jesus—not just intellectual belief, but surrendered trust.
The Holy Spirit to fuel your life, your decisions, and your passion.

A church full of people letting go of self and letting the Spirit lead.
God to show you what “greater things” He wants to do in and through you.

Take a Next Step!

Don't just attend church for an hour a week. Take a step! What step should you take?
1. Follow Jesus! If you have followed Jesus...
2. Get baptized! If you are following Jesus, then that's all you need to be "ready" to take this step.
3. Volunteer! Don't simply be a consumer, but be part of making a difference in the lives of those who come to OneLife to experience Jesus. There are weekday and Sunday opportunities. Get info about what opportunities there are for you!
4. Join a micro church! You can't have true community sitting in rows with a large crowd. That's not the church - it's an event! Micro churches are small "churches" of 10-12 adults that meet in homes throughout the week to learn together, pray together, serve the community together, and care for each other together.
Get more information about any of the above, send us your prayer requests so we can pray with you, or ask any question we can help you with by filling out the online connection card!
