POINT 2: The GRACE Shown

NEXT STEPS WITH GOD:
- Look to the Throne:
- Spend time each day meditating on who God is, the justice, mercy, grace of our King
- Try to get your head around how powerful and glorious he is

- Look to the Cross:
- Spend time every day thinking about the cross, which shows what God has done.
- It shows the weight of our sin, how much our debt cost. But also how far our King went to forgive us

POINT 3: Our RESPONSE:

It means ...
• Don’t elevate yourself above the people who have wronged you, you are FELLOW servants
• Don’t isolate people down to that one flaw!
• Don’t keep score of wrongs
• Don’t wait to forgive until you feel it
• Don’t gossip about the pain
• Take those bitter thoughts captive

NEXT STEPS WITH OTHERS:
- Identify a relationship where you are harboring bitterness or refusing to forgive
- What steps do you need to take to forgive them?
- Which of those areas is hardest for you? (Ex. Elevating yourself above others, keeping score of wrongs, gossiping about pain, etc.)
- How can you grow in that area?

Big Idea: The King has freed us from our un-payable debt, so we should forgive freely

NEXT STEPS ON MISSION:
- Look for opportunities to model this with non Christians
- Think of someone specific in your life and be proactive to offer this radical grace to them
