Key Theme:
Jesus offers an exclusive, yet gracious invitation to enter the kingdom through Him, the narrow gate. He warns against deception (both self-deception and from others), and calls for ongoing self-examination and obedience to reflect the genuineness of our faith.
Key Application:
Examine the path you are on. Choose the narrow way by actively placing your trust in Jesus, striving to walk in obedience, bearing good fruit, and discerning truth from falsehood.
Key Verses:
Matthew 7:13-14 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few.”
Key Questions:
1. Do I see growth in repentance, obedience, love, humility, and the fruit of the Spirit (FRUIT) in my life?
2. Am I discerning about the voices I allow to influence my faith and worldview?
3. Do I find myself trying to walk both the narrow and the wide path depending on what’s convenient? List areas of your life you have yet to surrender to Jesus.
Sermon Scripture for next week: Read Matthew 7:24-29

Give Online
Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
