Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

Ready to step into serving at The River?
We are looking for a few individuals who would be willing to be ushers on Sunday mornings. As an usher you will welcome people into the Worship center. You will help pass out bulletins, assist people in finding seating if needed, filling the communion tables and checking the worship area in between services. If you have any questions, email Leslie@HitTheRiver.com.

Interested in learning more about The River Church? We will be having our River 101 class here at The River Church on Thursday, August 28 from 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. This is a great way to learn what we believe, how we operate, and where we’re heading. August 31 - Outdoor Service & Baptism Sunday
We will have an outdoor service on Sunday, August 31 at 10:00 am outside in our front parking lot. Be sure to bring your own lawn chairs! This will also be a Baptism Sunday, if you are ready to publicly celebrate your commitment to Christ and be baptized in obedience to God, we want to help you do that! September 9 - GriefShare
Starting Tuesday, September 9, we will have a Grief Share group, here at The River. This group will meet every Tuesday from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. Lacene Downing is leading the group. September 10 - Mobile Blood Drive

September 10 - Ladies Fall Bible Study
We’ll be going through Sermon on the Mount by Jen Wilkin—from 6:30–8:00 PM, starting September 10. We’ll meet on Wednesday evenings, we’ll spend time discussing what we’ve studied and watching a teaching video from Jen Wilkin together. Emily Mercer will be leading this study, if you have any questions feel free to email her at emilysmercer@gmail.com.
September 18 - 6-Week Ladies Bible Study
Ladies, Join us for a grace-filled, Scripture centered journey designed for women who love Jesus and want to have honest, shame-free conversations about alcohol, stress, and spiritual renewal. The 6-week bible study begins at 6:30 PM on Thursday, September 18. Email Emily Schultz at emily@sobersis.com to sign up and receive your study materials.
October 3 -Unshakeable Conference
Ladies Unshakable Conference-Friday, October 3 at 7:00 PM. Mark your calendars and invite your one! Details and in person sign up for tickets available soon.

All ladies are welcome to bring a packed lunch and sit and enjoy a meal with other ladies of The River in the River Cafe from 12:00 - 1:00 pm.
