Salvation is about quality of life in eternity

Finding Freedom is about quality of life on earth.

It's a process.

(Philippians 2:12-13 NLT) . . . Work hard to show the results of your salvation, obeying God with deep reverence and fear. For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases him.

Body -- Only goal is to feel good.

Soul -- mind, will, emotions

Spirit -- Real You -- God like part of us

You are a spirit. --> You have a soul. --> You live in a body.

• Sin -- Stop going in circles!

(Romans 7:21-22 NIV) So I find this law at work: Although I want to do good, evil is right there with me. For in my inner being I delight in God's law;

(Romans 7:24-25 NLT) Oh, what a miserable person I am! Who will free me from this life that is dominated by sin and death? Thank God! The answer is in Jesus Christ our Lord. . . .

• Open wounds

(Ephesians 4:26-27 MSG) Go ahead and be angry. .... don’t stay angry. Don’t go to bed angry. Don’t give the Devil that kind of foothold in your life.

• The real enemy.

You stay trapped in your past.

(Ephesians 6:12 NLT) For we are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places.

(1 Peter 5:8 NLT) Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

(Romans 8:1-2 NLT) So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus. And because you belong to him, the power of the life-giving Spirit has freed you from the power of sin that leads to death.

•• Go to God for forgiveness.
(1 John 1:9 NLT) But if we confess our sins to Him, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all wickedness.

•• Go to God's people for healing.

(James 5:16 NLT) Confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results.

1. Invite people in.
(Revelation 12:11 NLT) And they have defeated him by the blood of the Lamband by their testimony. ...

2. Invite Jesus in.

(Psalms 26:2-3 NIV) .... examine my heart and my mind; for I have always been mindful of your unfailing love and have lived in reliance on your faithfulness.
