House Like Heaven: House of Peace

House Like Heaven: House of Peace

"House Like Heaven" is an invitation to reimagine both our homes and our church as sacred spaces where God's presence dwells, where peace is practiced, and where prayer becomes a way of life. It is about becoming a community shaped not by hurry or performance, but by the steady formation of heaven on earth.

hey
These questions are here to help you lead a great small group. Whether you meet at home, at work, or at church, use this simple practice:
E – Encourage
Focus on encouraging each other. Start with a win or something good.
S – Scripture
Read the passage from Sunday out loud. Let it lead the way.
P – Pray
Use the discussion questions. End by praying together.
N – Next Step
Look for one way to help each other take a next step with Jesus.
You do not need to know it all. Just show up, stay open, and trust that God will move.
GROUP QUESTION FOR TODAY'S MESSAGE

1. What's one small thing that instantly helps you feel more at peace, like a song, a space, or a simple habit?

2. In John 20, Jesus speaks peace to the disciples while they are afraid. What does that reveal about the kind of peace He offers?

3. Go through these three questions that came up in the message. 1.) What steals your peace? 2.) What can you acturally do about it? 3.) Where do you need to trust God with it?

4. What stood out to you most from the message about peace? Was there a moment that felt especially personal or convicting?

5. Let’s talk practices. Which of the six stood out to you most, and why?
(Choose a Slower Pace, Take Care of Your Soul, Create Tech-Free Zones, Keep Short Accounts, Protect the End of the Day, Begin with a Blessing)

6. We heard that “peace is not the absence of conflict, but the presence of Christ.” What’s the difference between trying to avoid conflict and seeking true peace?

7. How can this group help each other create homes, relationships, and rhythms that reflect the peace of Christ in the coming week?
