Sermon Series Overview:
It has been said that the Book of Psalms is like the heartbeat of scripture. It is raw, poetic, and deeply human. The Psalms give us a voice in every season of our lives from celebrations to times of despair. They show us how to worship even when we cannot find a reason to worship. They teach us theology, and they connect us to a long line of people who believed in God long before us. Most importantly, they teach us how to pray when we have no words. The Book of Psalms validates all of our emotions and reminds us that the God who created us invites us to honesty in every situation. For the month of August, we will explore "Seasons of the Soul: Navigating Life in the Psalms".
