How we deal with our emotions can either enhance or erode our overall personal and interpersonal health.
Five Key Quotes From the 2nd Inside Out Movie:
1) “It’s not about who Riley is, but about who Riley needs to be.”
2) “Maybe this is what happens when you grow up, you lose joy.”
3) “Anxiety, you’re putting too much pressure on her.”
4) "Riley, are you okay?" "No."

Emotions express the image of the God who is in the center of our lives.
2 Choices:
(1) Emotions will either rule us, or
(2) God will rule our emotions.
What are rogue emotions?

Rogue emotions express the image of Adam and move us away from God.
What about jealousy? Doesn’t the Bible say God is a jealous God? (Exodus 20:5; Exodus 34:14)
- God is jealous for you.
- God is not jealous because of you.
Where do Rogue Emotions come from?
1) Chemical Imbalances
2) Possessed or Oppressed by a Demonic Spirit
3) Spiritual/Physical Imbalances

How do you keep rogue emotions out of your house?
1. Pursue Physically Healthy Patterns
(1 Kings 19; Psalm 103)
- Rest Physically
- Eat Healthy
- Exercise
- Seek God
- Let God Love Us
- Find Community
2. Put Hope in God

3. Persevere in Purpose

4. Possess God’s Promises
(Joshua 1: 7, 9)
(Matthew 6: 25, 33)
5. Persist in Prayer and Power
(Philippians 4: 6-7)
Keep this in mind:
- Rogue Emotions Are Real!
- You’re not the only one who has them.
- They’ll never be eradicated this side of heaven.
- You can keep them as strangers and not family.
- God loves you and so does your Church Family!
