1. Two treasures

Key Theme:
True treasure is found in God Himself, not in earthly possessions; our lives must reflect a pursuit of Him and His eternal kingdom rather than treasures here.

Key Application:
Evaluate what you treasure most by examining where your time, resources, and energy go. Intentionally take steps to orient your heart and habits to pursue God as your ultimate reward.

Key Verses:
Matthew 6:24, “No one can serve two masters, for either he will hate the one and love the other, or he will be devoted to the one and despise the other. You cannot serve God and money.”

Key Questions:
1. What do you treasure most and why? Be honest with yourself as much as possible. It is easy to say what we think is the "right" answer but this will not grow us closer to the Lord.

2. What does the ambition of your life illuminate as your greatest treasure? Is there a contradiction on what you treasure with your mind versus what your life shows your eye is fixed upon?

3. Who profits most from the treasures you pursue? In other words, who is your master - yourself and money - or the Lord?

Give Online

Church family, we praise God for how faithfully in so many respects you give. Our church family is undeniably generous, but we still have great needs for supplication. We ask that you give joyfully, faithfully and sacrificially in response to how our great God and Savior has given to us.
