Are you wanting to grow in your Spiritual journey?
Would you like to get to know others better? The River Church is committed to helping others grow in their faith and developing deeper connections with others. Our small groups are a great way to do this. We have groups for all ages and stages of life. They meet at different days and times to help provide an opportunity that can fit your schedule.

We are looking to grow our groups. If you are interested in joining a new group please contact Leslie Stone, our Director of Small Groups & Connections at leslie@hittheriver.com.

Ready to step into serving at The River?
We are looking for a few individuals who would be willing to be ushers on Sunday mornings. As an usher you will welcome people into the Worship center. You will help pass out bulletins, assist people in finding seating if needed, filling the communion tables and checking the worship area in between services. If you have any questions, email Leslie@HitTheRiver.com.

Upcoming Events at The River

July 23 - River Youth head to Kings Island
All 6th-12th graders are invited to join us for a day of fun at King's Island! Students need to be dropped off at the park entrance at 10 am and either need to bring their King's Island pass, purchase a ticket online or bring $45 to pay for a day pass. Additionally, please send your student with money to purchase lunch in the park. Parents are to pickup outside of King's Island at 3:30 pm.

August 9 - Sleep In Heavenly Peace bed build
Sleep in Heavenly Peace will coordinate with our church for a build day on August 9 from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm. This is for ages 8 and up only. This is a great opportunity for everyone to pitch in and make a difference for local families. Sign up on our website.

August 10 - Moo-ve Up Sunday
All incoming Kindergarteners, 2nd-graders, and any 3-year-olds that have not yet transitioned to the Preschool room will be joining their new Sunday School classes during both the 9:30 and 11:00 Worship Services. We will also have a dedicated time of prayer in each class as we prepare our minds and hearts to head back to school! All River Kids (Pre-K and up) will get to enjoy a yummy, creamy sweet treat to celebrate our big MOOve! If you have any questions about your child's class transition, please email taylor@hittheriver.com.

August 17 - Trivia Night Fundraiser for Guatemala Mission Trip
We will be hosting a trivia night on August 17 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm to support our team of 13 who have signed up to join Faith in Action for a mission trip this October. All proceeds will go to sponsoring this trip and for the purchase of items that will be given to the people our team comes in contact with in Guatemala.
~Suggested donation is $10 per person at the door.
~Softs drinks and snacks will be available for purchase.
~Teams are welcome to bring in their own food.
~Teams will be made up of 8 people, and you must sign up prior to the event.
There will be a sign up table near the fireplace beginning this Sunday
If you are unable to attend but would like to make a donation you can do so by putting your donation in the offering box and labeling it “Guatemala Mission Trip 2025”
