Definition:
Righteous – To have a right standing before God means to be in a position of acceptance, favor, and righteousness in God’s sight. Living in a right relationship with God
Question:
Am I "right" before God?
Main Point:
Being right before God means...
1. All of us miss the mark.
Definition:
Sin - rebellion against or failure to obey God's commandments and God's will.
The 10 Commandments:
1. You shall have no other gods before Me.
2. You shall not make for yourself a carved image or any likeness of anything in heaven, earth, or water, to bow down and worship it.
3. You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain.
4. Remember the Sabbath day, to keep it holy.
5. Honor your father and your mother.
6. You shall not murder.
7. You shall not commit adultery.

Main Point:
Being right before God means...
2. Faith in Jesus is thestandard.

Giving at The Vineyard

We don't pass a plate for tithes and offerings here at Vineyard, but we do believe that giving back through our finances is an important way to worship Jesus.
