If Jesus were physically beside me all day,
would I have done anything differently?
would I have done anything differently?
A person of integrity…
· is the same in private as they are in public.
· has no reason to hide.
· every moment of their life should reflect Jesus’ character.
· when they mess up, they confess and make things right.

Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.
Proverbs 22:1, New Living Translation
Proverbs 22:1, New Living Translation
A person of integrity sifts through the tiniest actions in their lives asking God to expose discrepancies, pursuing excellence even in the little things.
Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts.
Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Psalm 139:23–24, NLT
Point out anything in me that offends you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life.
Psalm 139:23–24, NLT
Who may worship in your sanctuary, Lord? Who may enter your presence on your holy hill?
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Psalm 15:1–2, NLT
Those who lead blameless lives and do what is right, speaking the truth from sincere hearts.
Psalm 15:1–2, NLT
Integrity gives us a front row seat to God.
If you keep yourself pure, you will be a special utensil for honorable use. Your life will be clean, and you will be ready for the Master to use you for every good work.
2 Timothy 2:21, NLT
2 Timothy 2:21, NLT
Integrity gives us a front row seat to God to His presence, purpose, and plan for us.
Integrity blesses our families and creates lasting friendships.
"The righteous who walks in his integrity— blessed are his children after him!”
Proverbs 20:7, English Standard Version
Proverbs 20:7, English Standard Version
Examples of lasting friendships forged while practicing integrity:
· Daniel 3… Shadrack found friends in Meshack and Abednego and together they refused to compromise their faith even when it would have been easier and safer not to!
· Genesis 39-41… Joseph—while in prison on false charges—found a friend in an Egyptian jailer, when Joseph chose to be the model inmate while everyone else did the opposite
· Luke 10: 30-37… The Good Samaritan finds a new Jewish friend, when he refuses to give into racism, caring for this Jewish man when no one else would.
The friendships you find while practicing integrity will be the very ones to help you stand firm in your resolve to remain a person of integrity.
Integrity strengthens families and builds lasting friendships.
Integrity doesn’t have to worry about being exposed.
“People with integrity walk safely, but those who follow crooked paths will be exposed.”
Proverbs 10:9, NLT
Proverbs 10:9, NLT
For all that is secret will eventually be brought into the open, and everything that is concealed will be brought to light and made known to all.
Luke 8:17, NLT
Luke 8:17, NLT
“You are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden.
No one lights a lamp and then puts it under a basket. Instead, a lamp is placed on a stand, where it gives light to everyone in the house.
In the same way, let your good deeds shine out for all to see, so that everyone will praise your heavenly Father."
Matthew 5:14–16, NLT

If Jesus were physically beside me all day, would I have done anything differently?
A man with two sons told the older boy, ‘Son, go out and work in the vineyard today.’
The son answered, ‘No, I won’t go,’ but later he changed his mind and went anyway.
Then the father told the other son, ‘You go,’ and he said, ‘Yes, sir, I will.’ But he didn’t go.
“Which of the two obeyed his father?” They replied, “The first.” Then Jesus explained his meaning: “I tell you the truth, corrupt tax collectors and prostitutes will get into the Kingdom of God before you do.
Matthew 21:28–31, NLT
