'What are you living for? What do you love? Can it give you real joy? My friend, I’m going to plead with you now, don’t settle for idols when you can have the real thing… Live and die for the glory of Jesus. Don’t settle for a good career. It won’t satisfy. Don’t settle for comfort. It’s boring. Don’t settle for trying to be popular. The feeling is empty after a while. These things, if you buy into their allure now, will bite you and hurt you later - they are piffling, passing things that don’t deserve your all-out commitment. Don’t settle for them. Nothing is more satisfying, nothing is more delightful than the glory of God. Don’t rob yourself by chasing something lesser.
