Before attending lifegroup:
1. Read James 1:13-18. Reflect and write one observation or wise instruction.
2. What does this passage teach us about God and people?
3. What scriptures help you understand the text and message? (i.e., Proverbs 19:3; Romans 7:14-25; 1 Corinthians 10:11-13; 2 Corinthians 10:4-5)
During lifegroup:
1. Do the Take 10 questions in groups of 2-4.
2. Read aloud James 1:13-18. Name good and perfect gifts you recently received from God.
3. What resonated most from Adrian's message? Why?
4. What do you love about the character of God? How does that give you hope?
5. If possible, write down one temptation you wrongfully blamed on God. Have you sought His forgiveness?
6. Leader, as your group closes in prayer, allow a moment for private confession.
7. If you participated in Rooted, read Week 5's devotions during the week.
