🎒 Help Us Bless Local Students! From now through July 20, we’re collecting a special offering to provide backpacks and school supplies for low-income families at the upcoming Project Hope Kids Fair & Back-to-School Giveaway. Every $30 gift equips one student with the full set of supplies they need to start the school year with confidence. Would you prayerfully consider giving above your regular tithe to help meet this tangible need in our community? Let’s come together to make a difference—one backpack at a time! One Hope will use the funds raised by local churches to purchase the backpacks for the Project Hope Back-to-School Kids Fair & Giveaway, where local students will receive new shoes, socks, a backpack filled with school supplies, and more! Click the link below to give online to our Outreach Special Fund or write "Project Hope" or "Backpacks" on a giving envelope for a cash or check donation in the offering.

1. Idolatry often begins not with outright rebellion, but with an attempt to fill a void left by waiting on God.
2. The pattern of human rebellion
- God establishes the conditions for a flourishing life
- Humans distort God’s good design out of fear, impatience, or disordered desire.
- Humans try to recreate God in our own image
- It leads to shame and judgment
3. Three steps to break the pattern:
- Identify my idols – What do I love, fear, or trust more than God? What do I sacrifice to that is not worthy of my worship?
- Grind them to powder - See them for the empty substitutes they are – and reject them.
- Stand with the Lord - Choose God's way over your way, His timeline over yours, His truth over cultural compromise.
4. Christ broke the pattern for us.
