Make an IMPACT

The Bible teaches us that tithing is an act of obedience and that we should trust God with every aspect of our lives, which also includes our finances. Sacrificing a portion of our income helps us look beyond ourselves and makes us more aware of the needs of others. We offer many ways for you to make an IMPACT and give back. Take a look at some of the options below

Have you ever hit rock bottom… and realized you needed to look up?
“It was just me, God, and the guy in the tower. I couldn’t do it on my own, so I didn’t try.”
The real miracle here isn’t the fish… it’s that Jonah finally stopped running.
“God, I’m in too deep.”
1 Kings 8(paraphrased)
“Lord, if your people are far from you, if they’ve messed up, if they’re in exile or trouble… and they turn and pray toward this Temple… then hear them. Forgive them.”
There is always a way back to God.
You can’t run toward God and hold on to idols at the same time.
The fish wasn’t the end of Jonah’s story. It was the beginning of a new one.
God does His best work in broken places.
Action Steps for this Week:

Because surrender isn’t the end of the story, it’s the starting line of a new one.
If Jonah teaches us anything, it’s that God doesn’t just pull us out, He calls us forward.
So this week, take the next step. Don’t just hear the message… live it.

1. Name what you’ve been clinging to.

Take 15 honest minutes this week, no distractions, no filters. Ask yourself… What have I been running to instead of God? Write it down. Say it out loud. Until you name it, you can’t release it.

2. Start each day with open hands.

Before the noise of the world grabs you, pause. Sit in silence. Open your hands. Pray… “God, today I surrender what’s mine for what’s Yours.”

Remember… Posture shapes perspective and surrender starts before your feet even hit the floor.

3. Take one step toward obedience.

Don’t just feel something, do something. Make the call. Forgive the person. Sign up. Speak up. Serve. Say yes. Your next act of obedience might be the start of a brand-new direction.
