Let the Beatitudes serve as a barometer
Am I reliant upon God? Or reliant upon myself?
Am I hungry for the things of God? Do I pursue Him daily? Do I seek out His will in all things?
Am I aware of my sin? Does it break my heart, or am I numb to it?
Am I reverent towards what is holy, or do I find myself mocking or laughing it?
Am I building my kingdom, or God’s Kingdom?
