Stephen Ministry Information Meetings - June 8 & 22

Do you have a heart for hurting people? If so, we'd love to have you join our Stephen Ministry team! As a Stephen Minister, you will have the opportunity to provide Christ-centered, one-to-one, emotional and spiritual care to people experiencing difficult seasons in life.

A new training cohort for Stephen Ministers is planned for the fall. We will be conducting Stephen Ministry information meetings on Sunday, June 8 at 8:30am and Sunday, June 22 following the service. If you are interested in learning more about the ministry and possibly becoming a Stephen Minister, please plan to attend one of these meetings!

Missional Morning - June 22

Our next Missional Morning will be on June 22 at 8:15am, behind the barn doors. We will be hearing from Eden Valle who will be in town from Nicaragua. This will be a special time with Eden, you won’t want to miss it!

Summer 2025 Life Group Park Nights

Join us for a relaxed and enjoyable time at the park, hosted by our Life Groups! Bring a ball, frisbee, or let the kids enjoy the playground. We’ll gather several times a month throughout the summer. Everyone is welcome—whether you’re in a Life Group or not.

Wednesday evenings at 6:00pm. An RSVP to the host is helpful but not necessary.

Stephen Ministry
Stephen Ministers offer one-to-one, Christ-centered, emotional and spiritual care for people in the congregation going through difficult times such as job loss, financial struggles, medical issues, or death of a loved one.

Care Team Ministry
The Care Team Ministry provides transportation for those in need in our Hillside Family.

Prayer Ministry
The Prayer Team hosts a monthly prayer night at 7:00pm on the third Monday of the month. Everyone is welcome! You can also receive prayer in person from 9:30-10:00am Sunday mornings in the cry room adjacent to the church foyer.

Meals Ministry
The Meals Ministry is a practical way to meet the needs of others in the congregation who are welcoming a new baby or experiencing challenging circumstances.

Women's Ministry
Women's Ministry is encouraging the women of the church to read the Bible, just a chapter a day, and join the TableTop gathering for discussion the last Tuesday of the month at 7:00pm.

The women's Saturday morning Bible study is taking a break for the summer. For more information, contact Andrea Flack or Jane Banzhaf.

Men's Ministry
The Thursday morning men's Bible study is taking a break for the summer. For more information, contact Elliot Makuh.

Young Adults
The Young Adults group is taking a break from their Sunday morning meetings and will resume in the fall. There will still be occasional events throughout the summer. For more information, contact Daniel Ayers.

Youth Group
Youth Group meets Sunday mornings during the service on all but the first Sunday of the month. Stay tuned for announcements about special summer events.

Golden MomCo (formerly MOPS)
MomCo meets on the first and third Tuesday of the month at First Baptist Church in Golden. Childcare is available.
