THE BIG IDEA: God’s plan is to make you internally whole and entirely His.
1. The Goal: Holiness
Holy - To be whole and wholly dedicated to God
Leviticus 11:44
“For I am the Lord your God. Consecrate yourselves therefore, and be holy, for I am holy.”
The Two Realities of Holiness:
Positional Holiness - Justified in Jesus
Practical Holiness - living out what God put in

2. The Guide: The Holy Spirit
Two reasons why Holiness is a reasonable expectation:
1. God has put His Spirit in you.
2. He will not rest until you are restored.
Nehemiah 2:1-6
3. The Goods: Three Realities that Guarantee Your Restoration:
- The Spirit has Authority to help you
V7 “And I said to the king, “If it pleases the king, let letters be given me to the governors of the province Beyond the River, that they may let me pass through until I come to Judah.”
- The Spirit has Resources to help you
- The Spirit has an Army to help you
V9 “Then I came to the governors of the province Beyond the River and gave them the king's letters. Now the king had sent with me officers of the army and horsemen.”
Response:
- Give yourself entirely to God.
- Anticipate supernatural help Daily
- Love a messy person well this week
